Jacks BackSometimes called Jacks and Reverse, or Jackson, this game proceeds exactly like ordinary Jacks. If no one opens for high on the first round, the game reverts to Lowball Draw. If no one opens for low, a new deal must be made, usually after sweetening the ante. The playing requirements for high are the same as in Jacks; for low, the same as in Lowball Draw. The only exceptions are small straights and flushes. Obviously, a wheel is a much better low hand than high hand, and should therefore be checked during the first round. It's worth a raise for high, though, if someone else opens with jacks or better.
In any event, act promptly when you hold a small straight or flush in this game; if you have to stop to figure out whether an eighty-seven flush works better for high or low, the opposition will quickly peg you for a pat hand. Jacks Back is one of the better "Dealer's Choice" games, and is lust the ticket to liven up a slow session of Jacks. |

Pai Gow Poker Seven Cards Tips And Strategy Stud Poker Omaha Game Holdem Advice
Pai Gow Poker GamePai Gow Poker
Pai Gow Poker is a dealt with a standard 52 card deck and one Joker. Each player is dealt seven (7) cards. The object of the game is to make two (2) poker hands. One of the two hands is made up of five cards (called the High Hand), the other is the two card hand, (called the Low Hand). The five card hand must be better then the two card hand for instance, let’s assume that in the seven cards there are two (2) pairs a pair of 10’s and a pair of 9’s. You can play both pairs in the high hand if you wish or you can split the pairs. You cannot however put the pair of 10’s in the low hand because your high hand must be better than the low poker hand. The Joker is counted as either an Ace or to complete a flush or a straight. The Joker is not a universal wild card. On Poker TableSome Pai Gow Poker tables are now using an automatic shuffler that deals cards and uses a random number generator to decide who gets the first set of cards. In order to win a Pai Gow Poker hand you must beat the dealer by winning both the high and low hands. To lose you must lose both hands. Winning one hand and losing one hand is a tie. When you win a hand the house will pay you even money minus a 5% commission $95.00 on a $100.00 bet. Bank and BankrollOn every other hand the house will offer the "Bank" to a player on the poker game. If you accept the Bank you are then playing against the house and Banking against all other players on the game. (You will need a good sized bankroll to Bank the game.) The house will still take a 5% via on the winning bets. If the player does not want the bank it reverts back to the house. Approximately 42.5% of the hands in a Pai Gow poker room game are tie bets, so a player can last a long time on a relatively small bankroll. |
